WinPhone 8.1 vm failed to start

I’m trying Visual Studio 2015 in a Vmware Workstation virtual machine , and trying to start an WinPhone 8.1 Hub application i got:

The emulator is unable to verify that the virtual machine is running:
Something happened while starting a virtual machine: 'Emulator WVGA 4 inch 512MB.test' failed to start. (Virtual machine ID <a guid>)

The Virtual Machine Management Service failed to start the virtual machine 'Emulator WVGA 4 inch 512MB.test' because one of the Hyper-V components is not running (Virtual machine ID <a guid>).

After some head scratching i found that in the Vmware vm processor configuration must be enabled “Virtualize Intel VT-x/EPT or AMD-V/RVI”

And in the .vmx file must be added the line

hypervisor.cpuid.v0 = "FALSE"
